Senior Data Engineer

In this role you will design and build enterprise-scale data pipelines and products to improve client operations and analytics. You will work across Foundry and cloud ecosystems to translate stakeholder needs into production-grade solutions, emphasizing quality, observability and reusable patterns. Collaborating with architects, product owners and analysts, you’ll shape roadmaps and deliver measurable outcomes that accelerate modern data adoption. This is a hands-on role in a collaborative, client-facing environment with a strong emphasis on ownership and delivering value.

• Design, build and optimise enterprise-scale data pipelines and data products
• Translate stakeholder needs into maintainable, production-grade solutions
• Champion quality, observability and reusable engineering patterns

• Work across Foundry and cloud ecosystems to enable scalable data platforms

• Strong commercial data engineering experience delivering production-grade solutions on modern platforms
• Comfort with large datasets, distributed processing, and software engineering discipline for data products
• Foundry experience is desirable; strong Python/PySpark engineers who can learn Foundry quickly
• Extensive experience with Python and PySpark / Apache Spark
• Proven track record designing and delivering scalable data pipelines and data products
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills
• Experience with cloud data services (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Familiarity with version control, automated testing and CI/CD for data platforms
• Experience integrating data from multiple structured and unstructured sources
• Strong problem-solving ability and client-facing delivery experience
• Desirable: hands-on Palantir Foundry experience or ability to upskill quickly
