Senior Data Engineer - AWS

In this role you will design and implement cloud-based data pipelines on AWS for Tier 1 financial clients, delivering scalable, secure and resilient data platforms. You will work across greenfield and enterprise-scale projects, shaping how data is ingested, transformed, and served. You’ll collaborate with clients and mentors, applying Well-Architected principles to drive robust, production-grade solutions. • Design and build end-to-end data pipelines using AWS-native tools and modern architectures
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and deliver production-grade systems
• Apply AWS Well-Architected Principles to ensure scalability, security, and resilience
• Lead development of robust, fault-tolerant data engineering solutions
• Support and mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing

• Proficient in Python, Scala or Java
• Strong experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
• Practical knowledge of real-time streaming (Kafka, Spark Streaming, Kinesis)
• Proficiency in AWS cloud environments
• Experience with modern data architectures (Data Lakehouse, Data Warehousing)
• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps tooling, and GDPR data governance
