Senior Data Engineer – Capital Markets

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong Capital Markets, SQL, Data Warehousing, and Snowflake expertise to join our technology team in Mississauga.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines, optimizing cloud data warehouses, and processing complex financial datasets supporting trading, risk management, market data, and regulatory reporting.

• Capital Markets domain knowledge — trading, securities, equities, fixed income, derivatives, market data, or risk management
• Expert SQL — complex queries, joins, window functions, stored procedures, and performance tuning
• Snowflake — hands-on development, data loading, optimization, Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks
• Data Warehousing — dimensional modeling, Star/Snowflake schemas, data marts, and historical data management
• Python / PySpark — ETL/ELT pipelines, large-scale data processing, data validation, and automation
• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or related roles

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize enterprise-scale data pipelines and Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
• Develop complex SQL queries, data transformations, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Build scalable data models for analytics, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with business analysts, trading teams, risk teams, and other stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and support production deployments.
