Overview

In this role you will work as a data and analytics consultant at Talan Data x AI, applying data management and analytics expertise to client environments. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end data solutions and drive business value through insights and robust data engineering. You will lead or contribute to projects, mentor teammates, and adapt to evolving client needs in a growth‑mfocused, innovative culture. You’ll operate within a client‑facing context, bringing proactive problem solving and strong communication to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain strong client relationships and engaging stakeholders
  • Deliver data and analytics solutions end‑to‑end in client projects
  • Lead technical and/or project teams and take delivery ownership
  • Propose innovative data solutions and improvements
  • Ensure data quality, ingestion, transformation and governance in projects
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and adapt to different delivery methodologies
  • Support dashboards/reports from data sources to business insights
  • Stay abreveast of industry standards and new technologies
Key requirements
  • Multi‑discipline data experience across data management, engineering, warehousing, modelling, quality, integration, analytics, visualization, data science or BI
  • Hands‑on Databricks with PySpark for data pipelines
  • Experience building dashboards/reports with Power BI
  • Proficient in Python and SQL with ability to write complex queries
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Snowflake integration with Databricks
  • Ingestion, transformation and data quality control experience
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management
  • Experience leading technical and/or project teams
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall Scrum, DevOps and testing; DevOps and infra deployments (Azure, Databricks)
  • Team player with client facing capabilities
  • Proactive, self‑motivated and adaptable
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
