Overview

As a Data Management Professional focused on quality, you will define and execute the data quality strategy for the Events and Transcripts product. You’ll drive governance, metrics, and transparent reporting to ensure reliable, complete data for client use cases. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality-by-design into ingestion, transformation, and delivery pipelines, enabling scalable data workflows. This role offers an impact-driven path shaping data quality for private markets and beyond.

Responsibilities
  • Define and deliver the data quality strategy aligned with client use cases and industry best practices
  • Define, measure, and monitor data quality metrics to ensure transparency and accountability
  • Oversee data governance on new and existing workflows and improve data ingestion and interoperability
  • Devise data quality strategies across various data workflows and oversee governance
  • Own data quality methodologies and quarterly reporting
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to embed quality-by-design principles
  • Perform data profiling, statistical analysis, and root cause investigations to validate approaches
  • Set up business rules and visualization to measure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness using Bloomberg tech stack like rule engines and QlikSense
  • Balance technical and product knowledge to craft customer-focused solutions
Key requirements
  • 3+ years of professional experience in data science, data quality management, or data governance
  • 3-8 years of experience with Python, SQL and/or NoSQL
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Excellent project management and cross-team collaboration abilities
  • Proficiency with tech stack including Amazon S3, Lambda, Kafka, Apache Airflow or Bloomberg Tech Stack in production
  • Strong problem-solving, numerical skills, and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in distributed teams
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
