Overview

In this role you will help clients design and deliver cloud-native data platforms that enable AI and advanced analytics. You’ll lead cloud transformation initiatives, migrate legacy environments, and build PoCs/MVPs aligned with business goals. You will work with senior stakeholders to translate complex tech into value and contribute to practice development. Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver secure, scalable cloud-native data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Lead cloud transformation initiatives and migrations to modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, Redshift, etc.)
  • Build PoCs and MVPs for AI/advanced analytics with measurable business value
  • Automate infrastructure, deployments and data pipelines using IaC, DevOps, CI/CD and cloud tooling (Terraform, ARM Templates, CloudFormation)
  • Advise on data strategy, architecture roadmaps and platform design for senior stakeholders
  • Apply modern architecture patterns (Data Mesh, Data Fabric) with governance and user-centric design
  • Support business development through proposals, bids and client presentations and contribute to thought leadership
Key requirements
  • Significant experience designing enterprise data platforms, cloud architectures and AI-enabled solutions in a consulting or client-facing context
  • ~10+ years with modern data technologies; at least 6 years designing cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift or similar
  • Strong IaC, DevOps, CI/CD, networking, security and identity management knowledge for cloud environments
  • Experience designing ETL/ELT solutions, cloud migrations and Data Mesh/Data Fabric patterns
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to translate technical concepts into business value
  • Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC)
  • Desirable: cloud certifications (intermediate+), AI data architecture expertise, Agile delivery, cloud cost optimization, sector experience
