Lead data migration quality assurance with strong SQL skills in a provisionally hybrid senior specialist assignment supporting Ontario Government projects. Test Azure and Dynamics 365 CRM data carefully.

This senior Systems Testing and QA Specialist supports the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee. The assignment focuses on migration and redevelopment of BI reports for a new data warehouse. You will create test plans, prepare test data, execute testing, and validate Power BI reporting. Azure SQL Databases, Dataverse, Dynamics 365 CRM, and Azure Cloud experience are central requirements. The schedule is 7.25 hours daily, Monday through Friday, sometime between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, excluding breaks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop test plans for data migration quality assurance
  • Create test cases covering extraction, transformation, loading, and validation
  • Report defects and document reproducible testing issues
  • Conduct regression and performance testing when applicable
  • Maintain test documentation and submit completed deliverables

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting data migration projects in a QA role
  • Experience with Azure Cloud and Dynamics 365 CRM
  • Strong SQL skills with Azure SQL Databases and Dataverse
  • Understanding of Azure storage concepts and technologies
  • Power BI Online QA experience or similar BI software
