Responsibilities
  • Define data requirements through business analysis and metadata management
  • Design and deliver conceptual, logical, and physical models for complex programs
  • Identify data entities, map source-to-target transformations
  • Support data governance activities including standards enforcement and reviews
  • Use modelling tools (Sparx, Erwin, Power Designer) to develop and refine models
Key requirements
  • Proven experience in financial services data modelling within data migration or architecture programmes
  • Strong grasp of data modelling layers (conceptual, logical, physical)
  • Familiarity with FPML, FIX, or FIBO reference models
  • Skilled in data model documentation, stakeholder engagement, and metadata practices
  • Understanding of RDBMS, UML, JSON/XML schemas, and Agile project lifecycles
