Senior Data Platform Engineer

In this role you lead the Data Engineering team to deliver robust, scalable data pipelines and platforms that empower data scientists and analysts. You will drive a Databricks-centered transformation, collaborating with stakeholders to turn data into value. You’ll mentor the team, shape data architecture, and ensure high-quality releases. • Develop robust, scalable data pipelines for analysts and data scientists
• Hands-on work with Databricks, Spark, Spark API, Python, SQL Server, Scala
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to deploy models and algorithms
• Coach and mentor the team (including contractors) to improve standards
• Work with Business Analysts to deliver requirements and realize benefits
• Build a documentation library and data catalogue for developed code/products
• Oversee project deliverables and code quality for each release
