Senior Data Platform Engineer

Shape enterprise data platforms with strong data modeling and Python skills while building self-service experiences for producers and consumers.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will design reusable data products, APIs, workflows, and domain-driven building blocks. Your work will connect user needs with underlying data through AWS, lakehouse architectures, and Apache Iceberg. You will also develop enterprise data context for people and AI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design reusable, well-governed data products and domain-driven data models
• Build APIs, workflows, onboarding, SQL automation, and quality monitoring
• Contribute semantic models, ontologies, and knowledge bases
• Develop AI-assisted and agentic automation for platform teams
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and durable fixes

Requirements:

• Seven-plus years in data or software engineering
• Strong data modeling, architecture, and domain-driven design skills
• Hands-on AWS, lakehouse, Apache Iceberg, and Apache Airflow experience
• Five-plus years of professional Python development
• Experience with data quality, governance, or access management
