Senior Data Platform Engineer - Remote

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Data / Platform Engineer to join their Data & Analytics team.

This is not a traditional Azure Data Engineering role . They're looking for someone with genuine, hands-on experience building and managing data platforms , with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure, automation, security and reliability.

You’ll be working across:

  • Databricks & Azure Synapse
  • Azure platform engineering - ADLS, Key Vault, networking, RBAC & private endpoints
  • Infrastructure as Code - Pulumi, Terraform or Bicep
  • CI/CD - GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps
  • Databricks workspace administration, Unity Catalog & governance
  • Monitoring & observability - Azure Monitor, Log Analytics & KQL
  • Python / PySpark and scalable data pipelines
  • Security, access management, automation and platform operations

We’re particularly interested in engineers with experience across the broader data platform , rather than those whose background is primarily focused on ADF or Synapse analytics.
