Senior Data Science Engineer

As a Senior Data Science Engineer at Hippo, you lead the production of user-centred data science solutions that align with business goals. You will work in cross-functional squads to design and deliver complex data solutions, while expanding capabilities and mentoring engineers. You’ll manage ML deployment pipelines and address bottlenecks, ensuring secure, scalable, and well-engineered systems. • Lead production of user-centred data science solutions aligned to business requirements
• Facilitate stakeholder collaboration to design and deliver solutions to complex problems
• Develop and expand Data Science capabilities and support capability building
• Manage ML deployment pipelines (MLOps) and resolve bottlenecks
• Mentor and coach other engineers to support their professional development

• Extensive experience in Python and proficiency in other languages (SQL, R, Java)
• Strong experience deploying and monitoring ML (MLOps) using MLflow, AWS Sagemaker, and Azure ML
• Proven track record delivering high-quality, scalable data science solutions
• Expertise in Data Manipulation, ML, and Statistical Analysis coding packages
• Strong experience testing data models and Machine Learning models
• Deep understanding of product delivery from requirements to desirable business outcomes
