Overview

As a member of the Reliability Analytics Team, you design statistical and ML-powered tools to improve Google Cloud Platform reliability. You’ll build investigative data pipelines that integrate with infrastructure and influence engineering roadmaps and change management. You collaborate with engineering and product teams to raise reliability across deployments, and you gain deep knowledge of infrastructure assets to tackle high-impact reliability challenges. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to advance data-driven decision making for Googles users and customers, with a strong focus on scaling reliability through data science and generative AI methods.

Responsibilities

  • Design statistical and ML tools to improve reliability and support rollout/change supervision
  • Build and maintain investigative data pipelines for infrastructure integration
  • Influence engineering priorities and roadmaps through data-driven insights
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align reliability tooling with priorities
  • Develop deep knowledge of relevant infrastructure and data assets to shape roadmaps
  • Contribute to team-wide learning forums and broader data science initiatives

Key requirements
  • Masters degree in a quantitative field
  • 5 years of analytics experience solving product or business problems, or 3 years with a PhD
  • Experience with Python, SQL, and statistical modeling
