Senior Databricks Platform Engineer

Build enterprise Databricks foundations with Unity Catalog and Terraform as a Senior Platform Engineer. Own secure, reliable, cost-efficient Lakehouse operations.

This senior platform-first role supports data engineers, analysts, and data scientists across McAfee. You will administer workspaces, compute, governance, and deployment pipelines. You will also automate operations, optimize performance and spending, and guide platform standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own Databricks environments across development, test, and production
• Administer Unity Catalog and fine-grained access controls
• Design CI/CD pipelines using Asset Bundles and Terraform
• Automate provisioning, secrets, token rotation, and drift detection
• Define monitoring, incident response, and platform documentation

Requirements:

• 7+ years in data engineering, platform, or DevOps roles
• 3+ years administering enterprise Databricks environments
• Expertise with Unity Catalog, clusters, warehouses, and Workflows
• Strong Python, SQL, PySpark, and Spark tuning skills
• Experience securing sensitive data platforms and major cloud infrastructure
