The Ontario Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement seeks a senior engineer for a 12-month contract. You will support enterprise data governance, quality, and interoperability across cloud environments. The work includes ETL/ELT, Data Lake architectures, APIs, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
  • Implement Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Warehouse architectures
  • Develop API, event-driven, batch, and streaming integrations
  • Automate CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and deployments
  • Support cloud modernization and data migrations

Requirements:

  • Cloud data platform design and implementation experience
  • Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, and Databricks SQL
  • Experience with Azure Data Services or Azure Data Factory
  • Experience implementing metadata, lineage, and data quality
  • Ontario Public Sector experience required
