Senior Db2 z/OS Database Administrator

Administer Db2 z/OS platforms in Toronto for BMO, using SQL performance tuning to support secure, resilient enterprise banking applications. As a Senior Database Administrator, you will support BMO’s Mainframe Platform & Application Services team. The position focuses on Db2 for z/OS administration, database design, performance optimization, and production change deployment. You will collaborate with developers, architects, engineers, and business partners across enterprise technology. Key Responsibilities:

Administer, monitor, and support enterprise-scale Db2 z/OS environments Design secure, scalable, highly available database solutions Deploy database changes through established change management processes Tune SQL and troubleshoot complex database connectivity issues Develop security standards, governance practices, and operational procedures Requirements:

Seven or more years supporting Db2 for z/OS environments Experience with Db2 z/OS Version 12 or higher Strong SQL tuning, database design, and administration expertise Experience with z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, and mainframe technologies Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience Apply your Db2 z/OS, SQL optimization, and mainframe expertise to BMO’s enterprise database platforms in Toronto.
