In this role you will provide expert desktop and small- to mid-scale server support for a fast-paced quant-trading environment. You will collaborate with Linux, Windows, cybersecurity and network teams to keep a mixed Windows/Linux estate running 24/6, diagnosing issues in real time. The position emphasizes uptime, robust troubleshooting, and proactive technology stewardship in a high-demand setting. You will contribute to a high-profile client’s trading infrastructure and growth through technical excellence and strong communication.

- Provide technical support for automated and manual trading environments (desktop, server, and network)
- Collaborate with Linux, Windows, cybersecurity, and network teams to monitor and troubleshoot systems in real time
- Maintain and troubleshoot a mixed Windows/Linux environment across physical and virtual infrastructure
- Ensure high availability and minimal downtime in a 24/6 trading context
- Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and problem resolution at desktop, server, and network levels
- Scripting and administration tasks within Windows environments (Active Directory, Group Policy)
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders and manage projects independently
- Demonstrate proactive, self-motivated approach to growth within the organization
- Handle core Windows components, performance monitoring, and general administration
- Solid foundation in computer science and networking principles
- Technical strength in networking, programming, or system administration
- Knowledge and training in Windows Desktop/Server operating systems in production environments
- Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across desktop, server, and network layers
- Familiarity with Linux
- PowerShell proficiency
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Self-starter with ability to manage projects independently
- Experience with Windows core components, scripting, and monitoring
