Overview
In this role you drive the development of flagship London schemes from acquisition through delivery. You will shape development strategy, manage external consultants, and coordinate planning, design, and procurement to meet agreed outcomes. Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll monitor budgets, provide financial insight, and report to Directors. The position offers the chance to influence high-profile projects and contribute to a respected, performance‑driven firm.

- Appraise development opportunities with Land and Sales/Marketing to ensure target margins
- Appoint and manage external consultants and coordinate internal/external teams
- Oversee contracts (land assembly, development, JV, construction) and ensure compliance
- Prepare comprehensive design briefs for projects
- Liaise with local authority planners; submit planning applications and monitor planning conditions
- Brief internal and external consultants to align with budget and programme
- Monitor budgets and prepare financial reports for the board
- Visit sites to review development strategies and progress
- Ensure teams are briefed on strategies relevant to delivery
- Lead and drive progress through all development stages from acquisition to completion
- Proven track record in delivering complex residential developments
- Strong commercial acumen with financial modelling and budget control
- Leadership experience across internal and external teams
- Proactive, hands-on, and able to delegate to ensure on-time delivery
- Experience with legal contracts related to land assembly, JV, and construction
