Senior Development Manager

Carriera Limited

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Development Manager to join a well-established private property investment and development business with a significant London portfolio spanning commercial, residential and mixed-use assets.

This is a client-side role offering the chance to take ownership of projects across the full development lifecycle while working closely with an experienced Head of Development. The successful candidate will have a genuine opportunity to influence development strategy, drive value enhancement initiatives and play a key role in the future growth of the portfolio.

This would suit someone already operating at Development Manager or Senior Development Manager level who is looking for broader responsibility, direct exposure to senior decision-makers and a clear route towards a Head of Development position in the future.

Unlike larger corporate organisations, this role offers direct access to the leadership team and the ability to make a visible impact on projects and business outcomes.

  • Prepare project reporting for senior stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to improve asset value and support wider portfolio initiatives
  • Act as a trusted deputy to the Head of Development when required

About You

We’re particularly interested in candidates who have experience managing schemes through planning, design, procurement and construction and who are comfortable balancing commercial, technical and stakeholder management responsibilities.

You will ideally have:

  • Degree qualification in Property, Real Estate, Construction, Surveying, Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline
  • Strong development management experience across the full project lifecycle
  • Experience working on commercial, residential, retail or mixed-use developments
