We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in the United Kingdom in a remote working mode.

In this role, you will lead cloud migration initiatives, implement automation strategies, and ensure infrastructure reliability. You will design CI/CD pipelines, enforce DevOps best practices, and support transformation projects at scale. This position offers the opportunity to work autonomously while collaborating with global teams to deliver secure, efficient, and high-performing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD workflows using tools such as GitLab and Jenkins
  • Automate operational, deployment, and infrastructure processes using Bash, Python, and configuration management tools
  • Configure and manage Linux-based systems with focus on security and high availability
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code principles and deliver automated provisioning for platforms and applications
  • Collaborate with middleware, security, and database teams to achieve seamless integration
  • Implement DevOps and DevSecOps practices across all stages of the delivery lifecycle
  • Troubleshoot critical issues across production and non-production environments
  • Support engineering teams with build, deployment, and operational challenges
  • Monitor key systems to detect risks and enforce corrective measures proactively
  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance delivery efficiency and platform stability

Requirements

  • 4–8+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering within large enterprise settings
  • Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and Unix/Linux troubleshooting
  • Advanced scripting skills in Bash and Python for automation
  • Practical experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and configuration management using Ansible
  • Strong knowledge of Git and branching strategies
  • Hands-on experience managing system lifecycles, patching, and security hardening
  • Familiarity with both on-premises and cloud infrastructure environments
  • Proficiency in analyzing system issues and conducting root cause resolution
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders effectively
  • Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently

Nice to have

  • Competency in implementing DevSecOps practices for secure software delivery
  • Knowledge of access control models (PAM, IDAM), certificate management, and vulnerability scanning
  • Understanding of infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform
  • Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, firewalls, and load balancing
  • Awareness of relational databases, including Oracle
