Overview

Informa TechTarget seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve Windows-based AWS infrastructure, focusing on secure, reliable, and easy-to-deploy systems. You’ll partner with product engineering to improve CI/CD, monitoring, and IaC, driving operational excellence and security. The role centers on automation, patching, and incident response, shaping production readiness at scale. This is a hands-on, cross-functional position with meaningful impact on reliability and security across environments.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Windows Server environments on AWS (EC2) for high availability and performance
  • Own patching, vulnerability management, and system hardening across Windows workloads
  • Monitor security events and collaborate with security teams to remediate risks
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for consistent deployments
  • Implement and improve Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
  • Develop PowerShell automation to reduce manual toil
  • Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging
  • Collaborate with product engineering to troubleshoot issues
  • Support releases and smooth deployment processes
  • Participate in on-call rotations and act as production escalation point
  • Lead or contribute to incident response and post-mortems for long-term improvements
Key requirements
  • Extensive experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Systems Engineering
  • Strong hands-on AWS production experience
  • Proven experience managing Windows Server infrastructure (preferably in AWS)
  • Experience with patching, vulnerability remediation, and security event handling
  • Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred)
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills
  • Experience with monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting production systems
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering teams and support production workloads
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams
