Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Duetto, you design scalable AWS infrastructure to power our global SaaS platform for hotels, resorts, and casinos. You own reliability, performance, and security, driving a security-first culture and rapid incident response. You will automate deployments with IaC and CI/CD, and champion AI-enabled DevOps practices to boost team velocity. This role blends hands-on engineering with cross-functional partnership to impact the hospitality industry at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure to support migrations and platform growth
  • Own reliability, performance, and security of production systems with proactive capacity planning
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Chef
  • Monitor system health with Prometheus, Grafana, and DataDog; define metrics and incident playbooks
  • Lead security-first practices and drive SOC 2 compliance across the infrastructure
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to align ops requirements with development and architecture decisions
  • Champion AI adoption within DevOps/SRE workflows to improve velocity and reduce toil
  • Respond to on-call incidents, perform root cause analyses, and implement durable fixes
Key requirements
  • 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
  • Hands-on AWS experience across IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail; multi-account and SSO
  • Terraform for IaC; configuration management with Chef or Ansible
  • CI/CD tooling: GitHub, GitHub Actions, JFrog Artifactory, Jenkins; familiarity with GitOps
  • Enterprise monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog
  • Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, and .NET environments
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities
  • Proficiency with Java, Ruby, Bash/Zsh, HCL, Python, JavaScript
  • Experience with SOC 2 compliance and security-first practices
