Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Duetto, you will own and scale the global SaaS infrastructure used by hotels, resorts, and casinos. You’ll design reliable, secure cloud systems and lead efforts to improve uptime and performance. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to integrate operational requirements, drive IaC and CI/CD automation, and push for AI-enabled improvements. This role offers a meaningful impact on hospitality revenue tech and a chance to shape security-first, scalable platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure to support migrations and platform growth
  • Own reliability, performance, and security of production environments with proactive capacity planning
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Chef
  • Monitor health with Prometheus, Grafana, and DataDog; define metrics and response playbooks
  • Lead security-first practices and drive SOC 2 compliance across the estate
  • Collaborate with engineering to align on architecture and integrate operational requirements
  • Promote AI adoption in DevOps/SRE workflows to boost velocity and reduce toil
  • Respond to on-call incidents, perform root cause analyses, and implement durable fixes
Key requirements
  • 5+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role
  • Hands-on AWS experience across IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail; multi-account and SSO
  • Terraform for IaC; Chef or Ansible for configuration management
  • CI/CD tooling: GitHub, GitHub Actions, JFrog Artifactory, Jenkins; GitOps familiarity
  • Container and orchestration: Docker, ECS, or EKS
  • Enterprise monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog
  • Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills
  • Proficiency reading Java, Ruby, Bash/Zsh, HCL, Python, and JavaScript
  • Experience with SOC 2 compliance and security-first infrastructure practices
