Senior DevOps Engineer – Belfast
Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in the Belfast office | Full Time | Permanent
We’re partnering with a growing international technology business to appoint a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Belfast-based Engineering team.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineer who enjoys building reliable infrastructure, automating deployments and improving the way software moves from development into production.
You’ll play a key role in managing infrastructure, developing CI/CD pipelines, increasing automation and helping engineering teams deliver software faster and more reliably.
What you’ll be doing
- Build, manage and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Automate infrastructure and deployment processes
- Work extensively with Kubernetes, Terraform and Jenkins
- Manage Linux-based infrastructure
- Support private and public cloud environments at scale
- Improve reliability, monitoring and platform performance
- Collaborate closely with software engineering and operations teams
- Help establish scalable infrastructure standards and best practices
What we’re looking for
You’ll ideally have 4+ years’ experience within DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering, together with strong hands-on experience across:
- Kubernetes
- Terraform
- Jenkins
- Linux
- Public and private cloud infrastructure
- GitHub / Bitbucket or similar version control
- Scripting with Python, Bash, Groovy, Java and/or Perl
Experience with Docker, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, enterprise-scale automation or cybersecurity would be advantageous.
