In this role you drive DevOps improvements and efficient delivery within a multi-disciplinary team, applying best practices to unite development, operations, and QA. You will translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and support system reliability at scale. The role sits at the intersection of people, processes, and tools to accelerate value delivery for public and private sector projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enable faster, higher-quality software delivery while maintaining security and performance.

- Lead and implement DevOps tooling and containerisation initiatives
- Translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions and roadmaps
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and act as a business SME for DevOps needs
- Manage stakeholder expectations and align efforts to service effectiveness
- 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer
- Strong knowledge of AWS, CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes and Helm
- Experience in Java
- Experience with multiple ecosystem databases and integration
- Experience with monitoring tools for reliability and performance
- Database schema change management (Liquibase)
- Knowledge of GitOps principles
- Public sector/central government experience beneficial
- Clear communication with stakeholders
- Negotiation and influencing abilities
