Senior DevOps Engineer (Python)

In this DevOps role, you will accelerate delivery and improve software quality by blending development and operations. You’ll work in a cross-functional team to apply best DevOps practices and drive automation, monitoring, and reliability. You’ll translate business needs into technical solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure efficient service delivery. The position centers on AWS, CI/CD, and modern IaC tooling to enable scalable, secure software delivery.

• Leverage DevOps tooling, containers and containerisation to improve delivery
• Communicate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical implementation
• Act as a business SME to understand needs and steer the DevOps team efficiently
• Manage stakeholder expectations to ensure service effectiveness and proper focus

• 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer
• Strong knowledge of AWS and CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance
• Practical experience with Terraform, Kubernetes and Helm
• Experience in Python
• Extensive cloud computing experience and familiarity with emerging technologies
• Experience with multiple ecosystem databases and integration
• Experience with monitoring tools for reliability and performance
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration and packaging
• AWS experience
• IaC knowledge with Terraform
• CI/CD proficiency with Jenkins
• Database schema change management (e.g., Liquibase)
• Automation scripting (Python)
• GitOps understanding
• Java and Maven experience
• Core principles of automation, monitoring, continuous improvement and best practices
