In this DevOps role you will implement and enhance delivery performance and software quality within a cross-functional team. You’ll balance development and operations to focus on people, processes, and tooling, aligning engineering efforts with business needs. You’ll work with stakeholders to translate requirements into practical DevOps solutions and ensure reliable, scalable systems. This position offers the chance to contribute to a fast-growing digital transformation agenda in both public and private sectors, with exposure to modern tooling and cloud platforms.

- Leverage DevOps tooling, containers and containerisation to improve delivery
- Communicate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical implementations
- Act as a business SME to support DevOps efficiency and process improvements
- Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure effective service delivery and prioritisation
- 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer
- Strong knowledge of AWS and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes and Helm
- Knowledge of Java (Spring) beneficial
- Experience with multiple databases, architecture and integration
- Experience with monitoring tools for reliability and performance
- Database management experience with schema change tools like Liquibase
- Automation scripting in Python
- Knowledge of GitOps principles
- Experience in public sector/central government beneficial
