Senior DevOps Engineer - Trading & Supply

In this role you will support mission-critical global derivatives trading environments to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance. You will collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve robustness and operational efficiency, focusing on end-to-end workflow stability and incident response. You’ll act as a subject matter expert for trading systems and regulatory initiatives, delivering scalable, compliant trading technology. This position offers hands-on work with real-time data and trading platforms, with a strong impact on system reliability and business outcomes. Hybrid in London, with opportunities to drive improvements in dynamic markets.

• Proactive management of critical end-to-end workflows to enhance stability
• Troubleshooting and incident resolution across development, support, and business stakeholders
• Serve as SME for trading systems initiatives and regulatory compliance
• Hands-on support for scalable algorithmic trading tech within a compliant framework
• Drive technical debt reduction and robust solution delivery
• Participate in global on-call rotation for incident response and operational continuity

• Minimum 8 years in Commodity Trading & Capital Markets/Investment Banking
• Strong understanding of major global futures exchanges and derivatives trade lifecycle
• Proven track record in application deployment and Front Office support
• 8+ years of real-time market data distribution platforms and feedhandlers experience
• Knowledge of time-series analytics frameworks (kdb or Shakti)
• Solid scripting/programming skills (Python, PowerShell, C#, SQL)
• 8+ years of FIX engineering experience and certification processes
• Familiarity with EMS/OMS software like TT, Bloomberg, NYFIX or TradingScreen
• Expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining continuous trading operations under pressure
