Senior DevSecOps Migration Engineer

Analyze GitHub and Bitbucket repositories as a Senior DevSecOps Engineer supporting migration readiness, CI/CD validation, and workflow troubleshooting activities.

At Tata Consultancy Services, this senior engineering role supports source code repository transitions and migration automation. You will assess branching strategies, permissions, integrations, pipelines, and repository dependencies. The work involves collaboration across developers, DevOps, security, and platform teams while documenting findings, risks, and remediation plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze GitHub and Bitbucket repositories, branching strategies, and permissions
• Assess application mappings and repository migration readiness
• Validate repositories and support migration activities
• Identify dependencies, build configurations, webhooks, and pipeline integrations
• Troubleshoot permissions, integrations, repositories, and pipeline migration issues

Requirements:

• Experience in DevOps, software engineering, or platform engineering
• Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket
• Source code repository migration or SCM transition experience
• Understanding of CI/CD, deployment workflows, and DevSecOps practices
• Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Groovy scripting proficiency
