In this role you steer enterprise-scale infrastructure strategy and governance, aligning investments with strategic pillars and risk controls. You lead cross-platform initiatives to standardize patterns across compute, storage, network, identity, and more, driving automation and resilience. You sponsor communities of practice, mentor leaders, and communicate progress to executive stakeholders. You shape modernization programs and ensure audit-ready, compliant artifacts while delivering measurable business value.

- Set execution standards and oversee readiness for complex deployments across multi-tier, multi-platform environments
- Approve major changes and ensure operational resilience, performance, and compliance
- Review KPIs/OKRs and post-change outcomes; mentor leaders to ensure quality and documentation excellence
- Sponsor and steer incident response and problem management with rigorous root cause analysis
- Orchestrate cross-functional coordination (production services, cybersecurity, application/platform teams, vendors) to improve reliability
- Translate strategy into operational roadmaps, reference architectures, standards, and lifecycle governance
- Establish documentation policies and certification criteria for audit-ready artifacts
- Lead firm-wide automation strategy including Infrastructure-as-Code and self-service frameworks; pilot emerging technologies while ensuring cost optimization and governance
- Strengthen collaboration across infrastructure groups; represent engineering in leadership forums; drive audits, risk remediation, and post-incident reviews
- 15-20+ years of enterprise-scale experience in software development or technology infrastructure
- Broad and deep proficiency across multiple infrastructure domains and portfolio-level solution design
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to think strategically and set technical direction
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline; advanced degree beneficial
- Experience in securities or financial services is a plus
