Senior Distributed Storage Engineer

Engineer distributed storage at NVIDIA with expertise in clustered systems, storage networking, and Linux automation. Improve reliability, scalability, and performance across production infrastructure.

This senior engineering role focuses on large-scale distributed storage systems supporting internal and external-facing GPU cloud services. You will manage storage architectures, data placement, access patterns, and system health. Your work includes performance monitoring, fault remediation, redundancy, caching, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain production storage availability, latency, and health
• Optimize compression, deduplication, tiering, and workload placement
• Scale systems using dynamic migration and policy-based tiering
• Implement encryption, access controls, and auditing mechanisms
• Develop sustainable incident response and blameless analysis

Requirements:

• 8+ years of practical technical experience required
• Distributed object, parallel file, and enterprise storage experience
• Knowledge of storage scalability, reliability, and performance
• Experience with Fibre Channel and NVMe over Fabrics
• Expertise in algorithms, data structures, and software design
