Senior Dynamics 365 Developer

Location: Edinburgh or Glasgow (Hybrid Working)

We're working with a well-established professional services organisation undertaking a significant programme of digital transformation across its business-critical CRM platforms. As part of a small but growing Dynamics team, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of their Microsoft ecosystem while mentoring junior developers and leading technical delivery.

The Opportunity

This is a senior, hands-on development role with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/CRM and the Power Platform . You'll be the most experienced Dynamics specialist within the team, taking ownership of complex development work while providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

The role is approximately 70-80% hands-on development , with the remaining time focused on technical leadership, coaching and solution design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/CRM
• Build custom plugins, workflows, integrations and automations
• Develop solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Support the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and development best practices
• Lead technical decision-making and contribute to solution architecture
• Mentor and support junior developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Work closely with wider technology teams to deliver high-quality releases

About You

We're looking for someone with:

• Commercial experience developing within Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/CRM
• Strong C#, .NET and JavaScript development skills
• Experience working with the Microsoft Power Platform
• Knowledge of Azure services and cloud-based integrations
• Understanding of DevOps principles, source control and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience designing and delivering scalable business applications
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Previous mentoring or technical leadership experience

Nice to Have

• Microsoft certifications relating to Dynamics 365 or Power Platform
• Experience with Dataverse and Dynamics SDK
• Experience delivering CRM transformation or migration projects
