Senior Embedded C++ Engineer

Design real-time embedded software remotely from South Africa using C/C++ and RTOS expertise. Support sophisticated aerospace and defense electronic systems. Our client seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer with at least seven years of professional embedded development experience. You will build software for microprocessors and microcontrollers while addressing low-level hardware interaction. The work includes C/C++, RTOS implementations, communication protocols, and structured software processes. Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement real-time embedded software for high-performance systems Write reliable, maintainable C/C++ code for embedded platforms Develop device drivers for hardware peripherals Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing Debug complex software and hardware issues using advanced tools Requirements:

Seven or more years of embedded software development experience Degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field Expertise in C/C++ programming for real-time applications Practical knowledge of RTOS concepts and implementations Experience with CAN, Ethernet, SPI, or I2C protocols Apply your C/C++, RTOS, testing, and debugging expertise to mission-critical embedded systems from a fully remote setting.
