We’re hiring: Senior Embedded Linux Developer | Theale, near Reading


Want to build embedded software that needs to stay secure, connected and reliable in the field for years ?


At AddSecure, our Smart Alarms team develops solutions for secure IoT, monitored alarm transmission and critical communication. We’re now looking for a Senior Embedded Linux Developer to join our team in Theale.


You’ll work hands-on with C and embedded Linux , developing the next generation of our i.MX93 Buildroot-based systems while having real influence over architecture, engineering practices and future products.


You’ll get to work with technologies such as:


  • Embedded Linux & Buildroot
  • Ethernet, Wi-Fi & cellular connectivity
  • Automated testing & CI

This is a senior role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, collaborating across software and hardware, and taking solutions from architecture through implementation, testing and deployment .


Based in our new office in Theale, near Reading , with hybrid working – typically 3 days per week in the office.”
