Senior Embedded Linux Engineer BESS

As Senior Embedded Linux Engineer, you will develop platforms supporting battery energy storage system coordination and communications. Your work covers Linux firmware, Board Support Packages, communication protocols, networking, and system integration. The position supports monitoring, configuration, diagnostics, control coordination, and lifecycle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect embedded Linux platforms for inverter and battery controllers
• Maintain bootloaders, kernels, device trees, and root filesystems
• Implement communication protocols and coordinated subsystem control
• Interface systems with EMS, SCADA, HMI, and commissioning tools
• Debug networking, timing, and field deployment issues

Requirements:

• Degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
• At least five years of embedded Linux firmware experience
• Industrial or energy system embedded software experience
• Expertise with U-Boot, kernel configuration, device trees, and filesystems
• Experience with Ethernet, CAN, SPI, UART, and Modbus
