Overview

As a Senior (modern) C++ developer, you will design, build, and maintain the Sound United IoT platform within Masimo Consumer. You will work with cross‑functional teams across regions to analyze requirements and improve development processes. You’ll contribute to middleware and audio‑focused solutions on embedded Linux, shaping scalable software for a global product portfolio. Responsibilities
  • Design, development, and maintenance of the Sound United IoT platform
  • Requirement analysis for new products and features
  • Assist in defining and improving the software development process
  • Collaborate with team members locally and overseas (Australia, Japan, US)

Key requirements
  • Minimum 7 years professional software experience
  • Minimum 4 years Modern C++ experience (C++11/14/17)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Linux development
  • Software design experience
  • Proactive mindset and execution focus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Nice to have: embedded Linux development with POSIX APIs
  • Nice to have: GStreamer and audio frameworks
  • Nice to have: Boost.Asio or asynchronous frameworks
  • Nice to have: Networking (sockets, multicast/unicast/TCP/UDP)
  • Nice to have: debugging on embedded Linux with GDB/Valgrind
  • Nice to have: CI/CD practices
