Overview
In this role you will lead embedded software initiatives within a growing R&D team, shaping architecture and delivering mission-critical communications systems. You will develop embedded Linux applications, own technical decisions, and mentor engineers across levels. The position combines hands-on coding with leadership in a collaborative, technically advanced environment. You’ll influence product direction and help bring innovative satellite communication products from concept to production. Responsibilities- own embedded software projects end-to-end from requirements to release
- influence and drive software architecture and design decisions
- develop embedded Linux applications and related components
- collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring products from concept to production
- provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers
- assist in defining system-level requirements and interfaces
- ensure robust networking and embedded systems functionality
- contribute to delivery milestones and architectural governance
- 10+ years of experience with Embedded Linux and Yocto
- strong C/C++ development for embedded software
- solid software architecture and system design experience
- experience delivering complex embedded products end-to-end
- ability to take technical ownership and drive decisions
- strong understanding of networking, protocols, and embedded systems
- experience mentoring engineers and leading technically
