Overview
As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Riverlane, you will contribute to the Deltaflow quantum error correction stack and help deploy it into world-class quantum systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, product, and physics to design and validate embedded software for scalable QEC solutions. The role combines hands-on firmware work with system-level integration and testing to ensure correctness and performance. - Design and implement embedded software components for the QEC stack to support seamless deployment
- Integrate the QEC stack into partner quantum computing systems
- Develop test infrastructure to verify system correctness and performance
- Collaborate with Product and Quantum Science teams to capture requirements and constraints for the system
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Physics, Maths or related discipline
- Strong C++ skills
- Proficiency with Python or scripting language
- Excellent communication and ability to work with diverse teams
- Curiosity to learn new technologies, including quantum computing and error correction
- Deep understanding of how hardware implements software
- Experience with source control, CI/CD and unit testing
