Senior Embedded Software Team Lead

Lead embedded software development in Winnipeg, using C/C++ and system architecture to build electronic control systems for industrial vehicles.

This Intermediate/Senior Embedded Developer, Team Lead owns major software components and projects. You will solve complex embedded problems, influence architecture, and guide developers. The work includes client collaboration, multidisciplinary integration, and technical decisions for agriculture and construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop embedded software for industrial vehicles
• Define software architecture, interfaces, and technical standards
• Lead reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis
• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance
• Document engineering, diagnostics, and maintenance information

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Five or more years of professional embedded software experience
• Strong C/C++ proficiency developing production embedded software
• Understanding of real-time behaviour and hardware/software interfaces
• Experience with CAN communication; J1939 is strongly preferred
