- Design, develop, and execute automated tests for onboard software subsystems
- Validate software behavior on embedded hardware within hardware-in-the-loop environments
- Collaborate with software engineers to identify and cover test gaps
- Debug and triage system-level issues across software and hardware boundaries
- Contribute to CI pipelines and reusable test frameworks to enable self-service testing
- Expand test coverage by reusing validation tests and accelerating them earlier in the cycle
- Experience testing embedded software systems on Linux or QNX-based platforms
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar for test development and automation
- Experience with embedded hardware platforms and software/hardware interaction
- Proven ability to debug and triage complex issues across system layers
- Understanding of software testing principles, including automation, integration testing, and system validation
- Collaboration across cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving and debugging mindset
- Strong communication and proactive initiative
- Hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) testing
- Sensor systems or data pipelines (camera, radar)
- CI/CD systems and test pipeline integration (e.g., Buildkite)
