In this Senior Engineer role, you will contribute to Grant Thornton’s GenAI platform by delivering end-to-end software solutions and architectural design. You’ll work within cross-functional pods, translating business needs into technical outcomes and solving complex problems with a mix of native platform work and bespoke engineering. - Own delivery end-to-end within a delivery pod or forward-deployed team
- Translate business needs into technical design and solutions
- Develop and integrate backend components, APIs, and data flows
- Decide when to solve natively in the GenAI platform vs. bespoke engineering
- Work with product managers and Lead Engineer under technical direction
- Apply AI tooling to accelerate craft and take experiments to production-grade outcomes
- Contribute to platform architecture and integration patterns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable value
- Track record of owning end-to-end delivery in a team-based model
- Shipped production software with known decisions and trade-offs
- Depth in backend and integration engineering using Python or C# .Net
- Good judgement on native platform solutions vs bespoke engineering
