Senior Engineer

In this senior role you will own end-to-end delivery across the platform, acting as a technical leader for cross-functional squads. You will apply AI and multi-language tools to design, build, test, and ship features that scale data automation. You’ll mentor engineers, raise engineering standards, and shape how the team uses AI responsibly. The role blends hands-on delivery with architectural influence to lift the entire engineering function.

• Deliver features across the core product and all tech stack areas
• Own full lifecycle from design to deployment and support
• Lead spikes and technical design for multi-team work
• Review peers' code and provide constructive feedback
• Tackle complex data manipulation and scaling issues
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering capability, including AI usage
• Shape pipelines, harnesses, and quality gates for AI-assisted work
• Champion safe, secure handling of data and code quality

• Experience delivering and supporting scalable software in a multi-language, multi-technology stack
• Deep experience with Java and familiarity with a web framework (Spring Boot or Ruby on Rails)
• Strong automated testing skills (unit, end-to-end, performance, stress)
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases at scale including performance optimization
• Technical or team leadership experience with service-oriented architectures and container-based deployment (Kubernetes, Helm)
• Genuine interest in applying AI to improve software engineering with practical ideas or hands-on experience
