Senior Engineer

In this role you lead the development of Subsea XT technologies within Baker Hughes’ New Technology & Product Development team. You translate customer requirements into innovative design concepts, drive detailed engineering and qualification, and ensure on-time delivery of subsea solutions. You collaborate across global teams and functions to create competitive, manufacturable designs that meet industry standards. • Develop Subsea XT technologies aligned with customer needs and expand on new and proven solutions
• Create designs, drawings, bill of materials, calculations, and lead system-level qualification and integration testing
• Manage scope, timeline, budget, risks, resources, and stakeholder/change management
• Lead global teams and work with multiple business functions incorporating DFMA principles
• Provide technical guidance and peer reviews while mentoring engineers in a diverse team
• Explore new opportunities, pursue patents, and perform Freedom to Operate analyses

• Design Engineering experience for Subsea Production Systems
• Strong CAD experience with 3D modeling and detailed drawings
• Deep knowledge of GD&T and Design for Manufacture principles
• Experience with CREO (PRO/E) and TeamCenter / PLM tools
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Petroleum) or equivalent; Chartered Engineer desirable
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate several projects
