Senior Engineer – Civil Engineering

You’ll be responsible for compiling and delivering civil engineering packages, resolving engineering issues and supporting projects from appraisal through to completion, with excellent training, benefits and long-term career opportunities.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with site appraisals and engineering solutions
• Developing road and sewer designs and resolving engineering issues
• Preparing and coordinating Section 38 and Section 104 designs, approvals and agreements
• Coordinating external levels and private drainage designs
• Managing foundation design consultants and obtaining approvals
• Assembling and delivering complete civil engineering packages
• Advising on foundations, contamination, SuDS and value engineering
• Supporting the discharge of engineering-related planning and building conditions
• Coordinating maintenance inspections and bond releases
• Attending meetings and working collaboratively across the business

About You

• Experience within a housebuilder or civil engineering consultancy
• HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Experience producing engineering designs using standard software
• Strong knowledge of Section 38, 104 and 278 agreements
• Knowledge of highway design standards, Sewers for Adoption, Building Regulations Part H and BS8301
• Experience with PDS, MicroDrainage and AutoCAD
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-functional team
