8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 4.00pm Friday.
Senior Engineer required for a true industry leader in their industry. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a quality focused manufacturing company who are committed to employee development and training.
This role would suit candidates with experience in a senior engineering role within an automated manufacturing environment. You will need leadership experience and hold a relevant engineering qualification.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency across manufacturing and production operations.
The Senior Engineer Role:
· Manage PPM schedules and reactive maintenance
*75% people management, 25% hands on
· Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective measures
· Support the installation of new equipment
· Lead lean and CI activities
· Monitor downtime
· Lead and mentor multidisciplined team of six, including engineers, technicians and apprentices, offering coaching and guidance
The Senior Engineer Candidate:
· Experience in a senior/lead engineering role
· Automated production / manufacturing environment – PLCs, robotics, conveyors etc.
· Knowledge of lean manufacturing
· Hold an engineering qualification
