Senior Engineer

Senior Civil Engineer role based in Glasgow supporting a high-profile civil infrastructure framework in Scotland. You will provide on-site engineering guidance, surveying, and technical coordination to ensure safe, compliant delivery on a large project (MOD Helensburgh) under SC clearance. • Support construction delivery to meet project requirements with emphasis on safety and efficiency
• Assist site teams in successful execution of works
• Provide engineering guidance at delivery point
• Set out and survey using GPS and surveying instrumentation
• Monitor and enforce quality control on site
• Identify buried services to enable safe excavation and construction
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance
• Review RAMS and maintain safety culture on site
• Support temporary works and ensure procedure compliance
• Record and report site progress and engineering information

• Must be able to obtain Security Clearance (SC)
• Experience on civil/infrastructure/construction projects
• Knowledge of setting out techniques, surveying practices, GPS and instruments
• Experience with quality assurance/quality control processes
• Knowledge of buried services location and safe excavation practices
• Ability to review RAMS
• Strong HSE understanding in construction
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft 365
• SSSTS or SMSTS
