Senior Engineer - Developer

In this Senior Engineer role, you will lead the engineering design for new housing developments from land acquisition through to completion. You’ll coordinate external consultants, ensure design quality and regulatory compliance, and work with authorities and contractors to secure approvals. You’ll support on-site delivery with safe, efficient, and viable engineering solutions while mentoring junior engineers. • Manage engineering design for new housing developments from land acquisition to site completion
• Oversee external consultants, review designs and ensure compliance with standards
• Liaise with local authorities, statutory bodies and contractors to progress approvals
• Support delivery team with on-site engineering solutions ensuring safety and viability
• Mentor and support junior engineers within the team

• Qualified Civil Engineer with degree or HNC/HND
• Residential development experience
• Knowledge of highways, drainage, utilities, and earthworks design
• Experience with Section 38, 104, and 278 agreements
• Strong project management and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
• Proactive problem solving with excellent communication and negotiation skills
