Overview

As a Senior Engineer, you will join a new team building the next generation Fusion Platform on AWS to power global market infrastructure. You will own design, development, testing, and deployment, mentor juniors, and collaborate with architects and leads to production-ready software. This role emphasizes delivering low-latency, event-driven services in a microservices, cloud-native environment. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive architectural improvements and align with the platform’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities
  • Drive engineering improvements and share principles across the team
  • Support and participate in a well-defined SDLC with planning and delivery focus
  • Lead estimation discussions and challenge requirements for feasible solutions
  • Lead conversations on system architecture with engineers to guide design
  • Refactor and prioritize deliveries to evolve toward target state architecture
  • Own design, development, testing, and deployment for assigned work
  • Collaborate with Principal Engineer, Architects, and Leads for production deployment
  • Contribute to production incidents support and production readiness activities
Key requirements
  • Full Stack or Front/Backend Engineer experience in TypeScript
  • Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript; React, Redux, ReactQuery; RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Websockets; Tailwind
  • Backend: TypeScript or other OOP languages (C#/Java); strong SQL and NoSQL knowledge; REST/GraphQL/Websockets
  • Experience with microservices architecture and Terraform
  • Experience with AWS services (Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, AppSync)
  • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD; Linux/PowerShell; Git; Agile cross-functional delivery
  • Experience with Pub/Sub messaging (SOLACE/AMQP)
  • Familiarity with event-driven production environments and low-latency systems
  • Open to innovative ideas; strong communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of Financial Markets and OTC products (desirable)
  • OOP/SOLID principles (desirable)
  • Experience with regulatory-driven projects (desirable)
  • Contribution to open-source projects (desirable)
  • English proficiency: (assumed)
