Senior Environmental Data Engineer EQuIS

Build EQuIS-integrated data tools at SLR Consulting (Canada), applying C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Azure expertise to environmental workflows. This full-time role supports scalable solutions for clients and project teams.

As a Senior Environmental Data Engineer, you will develop custom tools, reports, and workflows within the EQuIS ecosystem. You will design ETL pipelines, secure REST APIs, and Azure services while strengthening engineering practices. The work includes environmental sampling data, documentation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build custom tools, reports, and workflows integrating with EQuIS
• Design ETL pipelines for lab, field, and logger data
• Develop secure REST APIs connecting EQuIS with other systems
• Write and optimize T-SQL for Azure SQL and SQL Server
• Support project teams with data pulls and troubleshooting

Requirements:

• 10+ years of environmental data management experience
• 5+ years of professional C# and modern .NET development
• Strong SQL Server, Azure SQL, and T-SQL proficiency
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in Azure
• Experience developing or customizing EQuIS solutions
