Senior ETL Data Migration Developer

Lead ETL development and data migration onsite in Toronto, applying complex SQL and Azure Data Factory to legacy modernization. This senior assignment is onsite five days weekly.

The Senior Software Developer – ETL supports the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement. You will develop documented ETL processes, analyze legacy data, and oversee data and file migration to modernized solutions. The work includes Oracle, MS SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and migration planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide best-practice data and file migration solutions
• Profile legacy data and recommend cleansing activities
• Complete mapping, interfaces, mock conversions, and actual conversions
• Define testing strategies and verify data integrity
• Perform post-migration audits and reconciliation

Requirements:

• Seven or more years developing and documenting ETL processes
• Experience with Azure Data Factory or Informatica
• Proficiency with complex SQL and PL-SQL queries
• Knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL Server, and Azure SQL
• Understanding of information management and master data concepts
